This family needed a space for the whole family to work in. Laundry sorting and folding and project and homework doing were the key needs for the space. My first goal was to give them more lighting as well as multiple work surfaces.

This beautiful custom waterfall countertop is the perfect way to house their washer and dryer, as well as give them a space for all of their sorting and folding needs. I used these sconces on both sides of the room for functionality as well as I love the look.

I utilized every corner of the room for displaying containers and bins to house all of their crafting and laundry needs.

This simple wall detail adds so much interest to the room and is the perfect affordable way to fill simple white walls.

A sink and laundry sorters were some of her requests so I gave her just that. I chose this blue paint for the cabinets called Wedgewood Gray from Benjamin Moore to brighten the space and add some much needed color.

My fave piece in the room is this custom, counter height table sitting in the middle of the room that is perfect for folding laundry, doing school projects, sewing, or whatever their hearts desire!

A simple picture ledge can display kids artwork or family pictures to personalize the space.

So glad we were able to give this family a functioning and beautiful space that they can all feel welcome in:)
