First order of business in this bedroom was to paint all of the walls white. It’s the perfect backdrop for all of the soft pastel colors relating to a beachy look and feel. A desk in a teen’s room is so nice to have a spot to get ready and/or do their make-up at. This desk from West Elm was the perfect size and look for the space.

Light strands adds whimsy to this teen space and these jute poufs from CB2 allow for much needed extra seating.

Having somewhere to store all of their ‘stuff’ helps to keep the room organized and clutter free. This simple bookshelf and these baskets from IKEA fit just right on this wall.

A coat rack is a great place to hang hats, scarves or backpacks in a teen’s space. And these beachy prints from Reality & Retrospect lend so much to the beachy feel of her bedroom.

This rattan light from Serena & Lily and nightstand from Wayfair were key pieces in the design. The nightstand added necessary storage and the light added necessary drama.

Finally this daybed is a great space for my client and her friends to chill on and adds a comfortable and cozy feel to the space.
