One of my client’s first requests were this apron front sink. Such a pretty feature in the space. We also added open shelves on either side of the window and removed the heavy alder cabinetry. Adding sconces above the shelving offered the extra lighting they needed in those corners.
Adding blue to the island and base of the kitchen brightened the space and added so much visual interest.
Glass front cabinets kept this wall open and airy. And these gold pendants are the star of the show.
The black hood gives the much needed contrast on the white wall.
I designed the trashcan on the end of the island so it doesn’t block the walkway when opened. This is one of my favorite features of the space.
We kept their wood trim and shutters which compliment the wood shelving, blue and white perfectly.The barn door to them mudroom was the perfect space saver for the space.She had no pantry space so we gave her a whole wall with a double pantry and butler’s pantry, floor to ceiling. This added so much more storage and space for groceries, as well as a spot for all of her appliances.Matte black faucets tie in the black hood perfectly.
Wood accents tie the whole space together.Stacked 3×12 subway tiles keep the space modern and bright.
